This call is for asking voluntary researchers who would serve as strand chairs at the next ESERA conference (https://www.esera2023.net). 

ESERA strand chairs have a fundamental role in guaranteeing a high level quality of the conference by giving their contribution in managing the review process of their specific strand in close cooperation with the scientific committee (related to the conference) as well as in the process of the collection, selection and publication of the e-proceedings, for which they will result officially Co-editors.

ESERA is offering travel awards of up to 1.000 euros each to enable ESERA members who are currently enrolled in doctoral studies or who were awarded their doctorate after 1st January 2019 to travel to research venues. The awards are intended to enable early career ESERA members to visit science education researchers with expertise relevant to their project in other countries. At least one of the two countries involved in any proposal must be within Europe. For 2022 the total award fund is 10.000 euros.

A significant majority has voted in favour of the inclusion of a doctoral student member on the Executive Board. The lecture and workshop rooms as well as the rooms for accommodation and the dining rooms are located at the building of the Orthodox Academy of Crete (www.oac.gr), a public welfare institution in the category of National Foundations.
