The nomination procedure for the ESERA executive board is now open. Deadline for nominations: 15 May 2015.

At the ESERA Conference 2015 the term of service of the following members of the ESERA Executive Board comes to an end: Manuela Welzel-Breuer (President), Costas Constantinou (Secretary), Koos Kortland (Treasurer) and Jim Ryder (Member responsible for Early Career Researchers), Robert Evans (Member responsible for future Conferences and Summer Schools), and Catherine Bruguiere (Member responsible for ESERA Publications).

The nomination procedure is now open. Candidates for the ESERA Executive are asked to provide up to 250 words in support of their candidature and a photograph. Please note that all nominations must be supported by a proposer and a seconder who are both personal members of the Association and who are nationals of different European countries. Nominations should be sent to the ESERA President, Manuela Welzel-Breuer (//This email address is being protected from spambots. Deadline for nominations: May 15, 2015. After that date, the nominations will be displayed on the ESERA website, and ESERA members will be invited to elect the new Executive through a secure electronic voting system between June 25 and September 2, 2015. 

At the first meeting of the new Executive Board, which will be held immediately after the ESERA 2015 Conference, (a) the new President and Secretary will take over their responsibilities, including the day-to-day management of the association;  (b) the Treasurer will take responsibility for the membership and financial management and (c) the other newly elected members will participate fully in the active decision making of the Executive Board and will also decide on the distribution of the portfolios on Early Career Researchers, Publications and future Conferences and Summer Schools. All portfolios involve the responsibility to take initiative to support and further develop the ESERA community but also to prepare and present a brief report at each 6-monthly meeting of the ESERA Executive Board.
