Non-members

If you are visiting the ESERA.org website as a non- ESERA member, i.e. you do not complete the online ESERA membership registration form and you do not log in using your ESERA membership details, some information of a non-personal nature regarding your site visit will be automatically collected in order to generate website usage statistics that will be used when planning future upgrades to the website.  The following information will be automatically collected and stored:

  • The Internet domain and IP address from which you access the ESERA.org website
  • The type of browser and operating system you are using to access the ESERA.org website
  • The date and time that you accessed the website and the ESERA.org pages you visited
  • If you linked to the ESERA.org website from another website, the address of the referring website

As mentioned above, this information is of a non-personal nature and does not identify you personally.

ESERA members

If you are visiting the ESERA.org website as a registering or existing member, your membership details will be collected and stored in the ESERA members database.  This data includes the personal contact details and other personal information that you will submit as part of your membership registration, as well as details regarding your membership type, payment status and history. 

No credit card details will be stored in the ESERA database; all online credit card payments are handled by JCC Payment Systems Ltd and the credit card details are entered directly on their secure platform which, at any time, meets all the required security standards (3Dsecure, Verified by VISA and MasterCard SecureCode).

The information collected will be used for the following reasons:

  • Internal record keeping
  • To improve the services and options that we offer ESERA members
  • To circulate to ESERA members information and community announcements which we think you may find interesting using the email address which you have provided
  • To circulate the eNews publication to ESERA members who have opted to receive it
  • To contact you regarding any membership or other queries which may arise

As an ESERA member, you will have access to an online Member's Account on the ESERA.org website through which you will be able to access and amend your contact and membership details, including your username and password.  New members will be able to select their username / password upon registration, whilst existing members will receive emails containing an automatically generated username / password which can be changed upon logging in.  If you are an existing ESERA member and do not have a username / password, please contact ESERA via the Contact Us form

All registration and dues confirmations will be sent via automated email.

Online Payments Processing

Online payments are handled by JCC Payment Systems Ltd. using their secure platform which, at any time, meets all the required security standards (3Dsecure, Verified by VISA and MasterCard SecureCode).  Prior to proceeding with your payment, you will be able to review a summary of the items due to be billed, and the total amount due. On completing a successful online payment, a transaction with the name "ESERA.org Payment" will appear on your bank statement. A unique reference number will be assigned to each approved transaction which will be displayed in the confirmation page and in the confirmation email.

Refunds or Cancellations

Refunds on Membership Subscriptions are not possible.  If you wish to cancel your membership, please contact ESERA via the Contact Us form.
