Membership of ESERA is open to researchers in science education from anywhere in the world.
The ESERA Membership fees are as follows:

In all cases the ESERA membership runs for a calendar year, i.e. if you pay in December your membership still expires on 31 December of that year.
ESERA Conferences are open to anyone interested. ESERA members receive a substantial discount on the conference fee and can, if needed, apply for further financial support. PhD student members supervised by an ESERA member can apply to take part in and, if needed, to get financial support for the ESERA Summer Schools which provide an opportunity to interact with other students and academics. PhD student members not supervised by an ESERA member will be able to participate in the summer schools only when it is not yet fully booked, and will not be able to apply for any financial support from ESERA.
ESERA members will be able to join one or more Special Interest Groups. Subscription to each Special Interest Group implies an additional fee of € 1.
ESERA members can get a substantial reduction on an individual subscription to the International Journal of Science Education. Details about the special rate and the order form can be found at: http://www.tandfonline.com/pricing/journal/tsed20
IJSE and IJSE Part B: communication and public engagement, now form the combined pack of journals available at an extremely reduced rate to ESERA members (print subscriptions only). Currently, the prices for the combined package are: EUR 145, GBP 111 and USD 181.
New members who have never been active ESERA members should apply for membership via the online membership form. Current or expired members should retrieve their login details using the online login reminder form; membership renewal should be done via the renew my membership page accessible on logging into the members' area. Payments, which must be in Euro, can be made by bank transfer or credit card (Visa, Mastercard or Ideal). You need to register for full membership if you are not a student but you are a researcher, a teacher, a scientist etc.
You need to register for student membership if you are a student member. You will have restricted access in ESERA website until you upload an ORIGINAL stamped documentation from your University, certifying that you are a registered student. An ESERA board member will authorize your registration.
