ESERA offers two types of membership plans, i.e. Membership (€ 40) and PhD Membership (€ 10). In all cases the ESERA membership runs for a calendar year, i.e. if you pay in December your membership still expires on 31 December of that year.
Type | 1 year |
Membership | Euro 40 |
PhD Membership | Euro 10 |
New ESERA members without any subscription history must first register before membership can be purchased. An account set-up fee of 10 euros is charged once. Current or expired members with an account should log in using their username and password and renew the appropriate membership plan. ESERA members will be able to join one or more Special Interest Groups. Subscription to each Special Interest Group implies an additional fee of € 5. Payments, which must be in Euro, can be made by e-payment (Visa, Mastercard). In all cases, please allow a few working days to process the order. Details about these methods of payment are included in the Membership Application / Renewal Form.
ESERA Conferences are open to anyone interested. ESERA Summer Schools welcome PhD students in Science Education Research. Conferences and Summer Schools provide an opportunity to interact with other students and academics. Please note that participation in the conference and/or summer school requires active membership in the year in which these activities take place. Continuous members, i.e., subscribers who were also active member in the year before the conference, receive a discount on the conference fee. PhD student members supervised by an ESERA member can apply for financial support for participation in the ESERA Summerschool.
