This book reports on the results of various science, mathematics and technology (STM) education projects as part of the first ever Natural Science and Engineering Research Council, Canada pilot project (2005-2011) on Centres for Research in Youth, Science Teaching and Learning (CRYSTAL). The inter-university and inter-disciplinary projects explored authentic STM opportunities, classroom application, school and system-wide leadership, dissemination and policy influence.
