ESERA 2025 - Copenhagen

Call: Proposals Symposium Science|Environment|Health at ESERA 2017 conference

The ESERA Special Interest Group Science|Environment|Health plans a Symposium at ESREA 2017 (for more information about the SIG Nr. 4, see here). It is our pleasure to invite ESERA 2017 conference participants for cooperation. The deadline of submission will be the 9th of January 2017.

The final decision will be out on 23rd of January 2017, so that colleagues can still submit for regular ESERA sessions if need be.

In case of interest, please send in your proposal (200 words: introduction, research questions, method, results, discussion conclusion), to albert.zeyer@bfh.ch, or keselmana@mail.nlm.nih.gov.

We plan to subsume the symposium under the overarching theme of “Complexity in Science|Environment|Health”. In order to give you a an idea about the issue at stake, please read one of our basic SIG texts (Fensham 2012, see here).  Complex heterogeneous systems in S|E|H present us with inherently unpredictable behaviour (see also the keynote Hans Fuchs at the last S|E|H mini conference 2016 in Weggis, CH, here).

For additional information feel free to ask at any time.
