The review results have just been announced for our conference. In total, just over 1200 papers have been reviewed and all the authors have received feedback from two or three reviewers. The ESERA Board would like to thank Dr Kostas Korfiatis and the Strand Chairpersons for co-ordinating the review process as well as the roughly 200 reviewers involved in this process. We hope that the scores and comments for improvement will be used constructively by the authors so that we can have good quality presentations next September.

We know that some people have been asking, either directly or through email, about how the financial situation in Cyprus is affecting ESERA and whether the ESERA 2013 conference will indeed take place.
You might find it useful to know the following:
- All educational institutions have been exempted from the bank deposit cuts implemented in two of the local banks.
- The University of Cyprus has guaranteed that the ESERA 2013 conference will go ahead and in the case of cancellation for any reason participants will receive a full refund.
The ESERA Board is confident that we will have a very successful and pleasant conference in Nicosia next September.
Accommodation in Nicosia, Cyprus
It is possible to book for accommodation and excursions through the conference website. Hotel bookings made via the conference website include transportation from and to the Larnaca International Airport as well as transport to/from the conference venue throughout the week.
We have made block bookings at hotels at lower prices than are currently available via the internet. Bookings need to be pre-paid. We encourage you to use this service at your earliest convenience because accommodation will be tight in Nicosia. Bookings are made on a first come first served basis.
