The awards are intended to enable less experienced ESERA members to visit more experienced science education researchers in other (European) countries. The awards are designed for researchers to share existing expertise in order to resolve an issue of concern in an awardee’s work or to otherwise advance their research efforts. The awards can be used to pay for travel, accommodation and subsistence. They are competitive and applications will be judged by a panel of ESERA Executive Board members on the basis of the following criteria:
- clarity of intended outcome;
- feasibility of intended outcome;
- likely contribution to professional development of applicant.
If you are interested in applying for a Travel Award, please send an Expression of Interest (EOI) by 1st January 2013 to Jim Ryder (J.Ryder@education.leeds.ac.uk).
