Since the inception of the ESERA special interest groups or SIGs, the number of groups as well as group membership numbers have been gradually growing. ESERA now has six SIGs, the most recent on Science Identities (SIG 5) and Language and Literacies in Science Education (SIG 6). SIG activities are supported by ESERA, and range from webinars and mini-conferences to joint publications and research applications.
