King’s has a national and international reputation for its work in science education and this post is the UK’s most prestigious chair in this field. The Department of Education and Professional Studies is seeking to appoint somebody with international renown and applicants should have a strong research profile and the ability to contribute more generally to a department with a strong research culture. The individual appointed will be required to supervise PhD students, teach on Masters courses and to lead the Science and Technology Education Group.
