The scholarship is funded by the Ministry for Science and Culture of Lower-Saxony within the framework of the graduate program LernMINT (funding period 2019-2024). LernMINT is coordinated and implemented by the Leibniz University of Hannover, University of Hannover, Ostfalia University of Braunschweig / Wolfenbüttel and the Technical Information Library (TIB).
LernMINT aims at the training a group of highly qualified experts in a sub-area of digital education, data-based learning and teaching in MINT lessons, in an interdisciplinary manner (see also https://lernmint.org/). The graduate program comprises a total of 15 scholarship holders, possibly other doctoral students and supervisors from the fields of biology, chemistry, physics, mathematics education and parts of computer science and includes various scientific events.
Employment requirements are:
• a university degree in physics or a teaching degree physics (Master)
• above-average willingness to work, ability to work in a team, independent and
structured way of working
• interest in working scientifically and in publishing scientific results
• excellent communication skills
• interest in interdisciplinary research
• good to very good knowledge of German and English
