Position announcement

Associate Professor, Science Education The School of Education at Deakin University, Melbourne, invites applicants for the position of Associate Professor in Science Education.

The School of Education is a leading provider of primary and secondary teacher education, early childhood educator preparation, educational leadership and adult, vocational and applied learning education. The School has a vibrant research culture and is involved in a number of ARC funded projects.

Reporting to the Head of School, the Associate Professor in Education (Science Education) will be required to teach, undertake research, publish and attract research funding in the area of the discipline. You will play a crucial role in promoting the School and establish and maintain links and partnerships with the academic, industry and professional communities. The science, technology and environmental education group is a vibrant team with a strong track record in research and a commitment to working with schools and teachers. This is a full-time ongoing role located at our Melbourne Burwood Campus.
