Dear ESERA Members,

We are pleased to invite you to join us for the Special Interest Group Meeting on Languages and Literacies in Science Education, which will take place in Copenhagen on September 4th and 5th, 2023. This two-day event will provide a platform for researchers and practitioners interested in languages and literacies in science education to share their work, learn from others, and engage in discussions on key topics in the field.

The program will feature a panel discussion on current trends, challenges, and future directions in languages and literacies in science education with our invited panellists, Christina Siry, Clas Olander, Eduardo Mortimer, and Kristina Danielsson.

We welcome participation from researchers and educators who are interested in languages and literacies in science education, regardless of their backgrounds or career stages.

There will be no registration fees for this SIG meeting.
