The journal Enseñanza de las Ciencias jointly with the Universities of Seville and Almeria are organizing the 10th International Conference on Research in Science Education, to be held September 5-8th, 2017 in Seville, Spain.
The deadline for proposal submission is December 18, 2016. The content of the conference is organized around three major themes:
1. What science education is relevant in today’s world highly technological and based on unsustainable growth?
2. What science education is relevant in the current scientific context?
3. How to reduce the gap between research and teaching practice?
The ranked journal Enseñanza de las Ciencias is a joint publication of the Autonomous University of Barcelona and the University of Valencia. The publication aims to influence science education research and practice undertaken within the Spanish, Portuguese and American geographical area. The journal promotes quadrennial international conferences since 1985 addressed to the reference international community built around the journal as well as the wider Ibero American science education research community.
