As presented during the online meeting on 26 January (link to the slides, link to the video), we have developed a proposal for the Springer ESERA series to publish the FOSE Manifesto. Following Part I, which sets out the Manifesto statements (here the state of the Statements), the volume will include commentaries on the six statements (Part II).
Part III, “FOSE Manifesto in Practice,” will feature 10–12 short, reflective chapters illustrating how the FOSE Manifesto can be translated into science education policy and practice. Contributions may include, for example:
- classroom-based instructional illustrations,
- curriculum, standards, or policy analyses,
- critical reflections on teaching resources or professional practices.
