ESERA Travel Grants 2026
ESERA is offering travel grants of up to 1.000 euros for early career researchers in the field of research on science education. The grants are for visits abroad to meet researchers with expertise relevant to applicants’ research. The next call (for visits in 2027) opens by October, 2026, and closes in mid-January 2027.
For 2026, the executive board received 35 applications. Applications were evaluated focusing on:
- need for financial support to carry out the visit,
- benefit of the visit for the professional development of the awardee,
- feasibility of the anticipated outcomes of the visit.
The board also worked to ensure a broad geographical spread of home and host countries. All applicants were notified about the results in the end of January, 2026.
